Due to the fabulous talent and time being donated, OddCon will soon have a new look! Stay tuned!

A recent graduate of the University of South Florida School of Engineering is negotiating the terms of holding a Rube Goldberg competition during OddCon2010. Details to follow; proceeds will likely go towards local sustainable living charities.

I’m currently chatting up the organizer for Robot Battles of DragonCon infamy and they are “very interested” in OddCon! Stay tuned for more information as we step into high gear for the upcoming convention! Geeks, Robots, and Girls – OH MY!

Holy Lack of Update Batman!

You will have to forgive your poor event coordinator, but life has most certainly gotten in the way of pleasure. However, I do have splendid news! Now, you MUST say “splendid” with a nefarious tone, steeple your fingers and shift your eyes. Go on. I’ll wait.

Splendid. Moving on. This splendorous news is that the Tampa Bay OddCon is most definitely ON! Things had been up in the air while hotel negotiations went through, and I should have said as much. My bad. Now, we’ve got cemented venue space at the Doubletree Westshore in sunny Tampa, Florida. Stay tuned for (far more frequent) updates regarding Dealer tables, notable notables and total geektacular events! I hope you are as excited as I am!
